Accessibility testing questions
What is WCAG 2.2?
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines are the international standard for digital accessibility, published by the W3C. Version 2.2 added criteria covering focus visibility, target size, dragging movements and accessible authentication. Level AA is the most common target.
Can you certify that our site is compliant?
We provide a detailed audit and a retest summary that document conformance at the time of testing. We do not issue legal certifications, and we recommend consulting your legal team about specific regulatory requirements.
Do you test mobile apps as well as websites?
Yes. We test native iOS and Android apps with VoiceOver and TalkBack, plus dynamic type, orientation and touch target size.
How long does an audit take?
A typical audit of 10 to 15 key screens takes one to two weeks, depending on complexity. Retesting after remediation usually takes a few days.
