Beta program management questions
How many beta testers do we need?
For most apps, 50 to 100 active testers finds the majority of real world issues. Consumer apps with a wide device spread may need more. We recommend a number based on your platforms and risk areas.
Can we include our own customers in the beta?
Yes. We can run a private beta with your existing customers, a recruited panel, or a mix of both. We handle invitations, onboarding and support either way.
How do testers receive the build?
We use TestFlight for iOS, Google Play internal or closed testing for Android and protected staging links for web apps. Desktop builds can be distributed through a secure download.
What happens to feedback that is not a bug?
Usability comments and feature requests are grouped into themes, counted and summarized in the weekly digest so your product team can decide what to act on.
