About Charlie Testing
A small team of testers who care a lot about your release
Charlie Test LLC was founded in Houston by QA engineers who got tired of watching good products ship with avoidable bugs. Today our test leads and a panel of more than 1,200 vetted beta testers help software teams release with confidence.
Our story
Alpha. Beta. Charlie.
The name started as a joke on the NATO phonetic alphabet. Alpha is the build your developers test. Beta is the build your early users test. Charlie is the extra set of eyes that catches what both of them miss.
We built the company around one idea: a bug report is only useful if a developer can reproduce it quickly. Every report we file includes clear steps, the exact device and build, logs where we can get them and a short screen recording. That habit is why most of our clients keep us on after the first release.
What we believe
How we approach quality assurance
Test what matters most
We rank risk with you before we write a single test case, so effort goes to the flows that make or lose money.
Say it early
If a release looks risky on day two, you hear about it on day two, not in the final report.
Real people, real devices
Emulators are useful, but real hardware in real hands finds the bugs your customers will find.
Honest recommendations
Sometimes the right answer is to ship with known issues. We will tell you when that is the case.
The test bench
How our testing team is organized
Each client gets a test lead who owns the plan, the schedule and the final report. Behind the lead sits a core group of full time QA analysts and automation engineers, plus our beta panel of testers screened by device, industry and skill level.
Testers are paid per verified bug and per completed session, which keeps the focus on quality reports rather than volume. Duplicate and unreproducible reports never reach your tracker.
